suit up!

today is xander’s 23rd birthday and we’re heading to several bars around the city all in ‘suiting up’ attire

in other news, i missed my discourse class today because my stomach was lame/i was lazy

and now i feel bad

meow :(

i fucking hate this essay. i really fucking do.

i never leave it to the proper last minute of being in the early hours of the day it needs to be in

but i just couldn’t do it

our professor want’s us to analyse question time in a manner of media discourse
i can pick out so much stuff that can be interpreted but he wants full academic referencing for our decision (of course that’s mandatory but hear my next point)

there isn’t any

which i think is the reason he most definitely didn’t put any ‘recommended reading’ in our handbook.
if there’s academic reading, i have found it and all of it doesn’t apply to what is going on in this transcript

our media discourse class has allowed us to go down one of two routes

  • the first route allows us to stick with professor number 1 who discusses international political issues and events in detail and allows us to speak up about certain global issues of which we find interesting. eg. the middle eastern revolutions
  • the second route allows us to stick with professor number 2 who discusses broadcast discourse and goes into in depth detail about talk shows and political interviews.

the second doesn’t seem so bad, does it?
except for the fact that he taught us all of it last year. the exact. same. thing and there is no interest there, there is nothing to motivate us in that class.

there’s a reason i chose the first professor, now let me do essays for him
AND NOT FOR YOU, PROFESSOR NUMBER TWO

NOT FOR YOU.
